Buy it once, not by the month

Meezan ERP POS is a one-time licence per machine, not a monthly subscription. The application runs entirely on your own hardware — your database, your disk, your electricity — so there is no server on our side to rent you and nothing to meter. Pay once for the licence, and renew only if you want another year of updates and support.

Three tiers

Pick the tier that matches your floor

Every tier is the same application with the same accounting engine underneath. What changes is how many machines you can activate and which module groups are switched on.

Starter

One till, one branch. For a small kitchen or counter that needs proper books rather than a cash drawer and a notebook.

  • 1 device — one node-locked activation
  • Single branch
  • All accounting modules — journal, ledger, chart of accounts, reports
  • POS — the counter terminal
  • Core inventory — stock, products, stock moves
  • Sales, purchases and money in full
  • Email support

Multi-branch

Several sites, a central kitchen and stock that moves between them. For operators consolidating more than one location.

SAR7,500one-time

  • Data migration from your old system, included
  • Named support contact

VAT is charged separately at the prevailing rate, in line with Saudi regulations, and appears as its own line on your invoice — the figures above are exclusive of VAT. Each licence is node-locked to the machine it is activated on, and includes one year of updates and support from the activation date. The activation code is valid for a fixed period — one year by default — and when it lapses a fresh code, issued on request against the same machine code, restores the application. Your data is never touched either way.
Add-ons

Add-ons and renewals

Everything else is priced the same way as the licence — plainly, once, with no recurring charge you did not agree to.

Item What it covers Price
Extra device One more node-locked activation on the same licence — a second till, a manager's laptop, a kitchen display machine. SAR 450 per device
Annual renewal Another twelve months of updates and support. Entirely optional — and whether or not you renew, your data is never touched: the database stays yours, on your disk. 25% of the licence price
On-site installation An engineer at your premises to install, seed the chart of accounts, build the floor plan and train the team. Quoted per city
Data migration Bring in opening balances, bulk invoices, or figures from another system via CSV import — previewed before anything posts, and added to your ledger rather than replacing it. Included with Multi-branch · quoted otherwise

5-day free demo

The 5-day demo runs the whole application in your browser. No installer, no card, nothing to uninstall — you enter an email address and it opens. It is the real application with every module on, not a cut-down demo: the real double-entry ledger, the real floor plan, the real ZATCA module, seeded with a working chart of accounts and menu. One demo per email address.

Nothing is lost when the five days end. The application blocks and asks for an activation code, the books you entered stay in your browser, and a paid code turns it back on with that work intact.

If you would rather judge it on the machine it will actually run on — with your own printer, your own till drawer and no internet at all — ask by email and a short-dated trial licence comes back with the installer. Same product, same activation, on your own hardware. Ask on the contact page.

Never tier-gated

What every licence includes, at every tier

Some things are not commercial decisions — they are how the product is built. Nobody buys their way into these, and nobody is locked out of them.

100% offline operation

There are no network calls anywhere in the application. There is no server component at all — the database is a file on your disk. Unplug the internet permanently and nothing changes.

No per-transaction fee

We take nothing per ticket, per cover, per invoice or per riyal. A busy Thursday night costs you exactly what a quiet Monday does, which is nothing.

No data hostage

Your database is a plain file you can copy. It is mirrored on a throttle to Documents/Meezan ERP Restaurant/, so it survives an uninstall, and the File menu has a manual export and import.

Real double-entry accounting

Debits and credits throughout, with FIFO or weighted-average costing chosen in Settings. Unbalanced entries are rejected and postings to unknown accounts are rejected — not silently accepted.

49 automated tests per release

Three suites run before anything ships — persistence, an Electron-adaptation regression suite, and licensing. The accounting, cost-centre, combined-statement and approval-workflow maths are checked against worked examples inside that suite.

The full security posture

Context isolation on, node integration off, sandbox on, a Content-Security-Policy on every response, all permission requests denied, and no filesystem surface in the renderer at all.

Cross-platform installers

Windows NSIS installer and a portable executable, macOS .dmg and .zip for Intel and Apple silicon, Linux AppImage and .deb. One licence, whichever you run.

Offline activation, no check-in

Activation is a one-time exchange of a machine code for a signed activation code. The app never phones home to confirm it, so a bad connection can never lock you out of your own till.

Durable writes and rollback

Writes are atomic and fsync'd with a rolling .bak, and a corrupt primary file falls back to the backup automatically. Stock consumption is transactional — a failure leaves nothing half-mutated.

Compare the tiers

The module groups below are the ones in the application sidebar. The sidebar also adapts to your business nature, so a services company will not see a floor plan even where the tier allows it.

The model

Why there is no monthly fee

Subscription pricing exists because most business software runs on somebody else's computer. Somebody has to pay for that computer, so you do, every month, forever.

Meezan ERP POS does not work that way. There is no server component at all — the database sits in one file on your own disk. There is no server of ours in the path of a single sale — which means there is nothing for us to bill you for month after month, and no point at which we can switch your restaurant off.

You buy a licence, it is node-locked to your machine, and nothing about it is metered. Renewing, at 25% of the licence price, is how you get another year of updates and support.

What you pay for, once

  • The licence, node-locked to the machine
  • One year of updates and support from activation
  • Extra devices, if and when you add a till
  • A renewal, only if you want the next year of updates

What you never pay for

  • A monthly or annual seat subscription
  • A percentage of every ticket, cover or invoice
  • Cloud hosting, storage or bandwidth
  • An export fee to get your own data back out
  • A reactivation charge after a reinstall
  • Anything at all to keep yesterday's sales readable
Pricing questions

The things people ask before buying

What happens after the first year?

The licence is bought once, per machine, and the activation code inside it is valid for a fixed period — one year by default. When that period ends, the application returns to the activation screen, and a fresh activation code — issued on request against the same machine code — restores it. Your data is never touched: the database stays on your disk, in a readable format, whatever the licence state.

The annual renewal, at 25% of the licence price, covers the next year of updates and support.

Can I move the licence to a new PC?

Yes. The activation code is an Ed25519 signature over machineCode|expiry, so it is bound to the machine it was issued for and will not verify anywhere else. To move, install on the new machine, read the new machine code from the activation screen — it looks like MZR-DE07-EB9C-0099-17AA-7118 — and send it to us for a re-issue.

We re-issue against the remaining term at no charge for a genuine replacement machine. Copy your data across from the Documents/Meezan ERP Restaurant/ mirror and you carry on where you left off.

Do you take payment in instalments?

Talk to us. We would rather agree a schedule that works than lose a good restaurant over cash flow in an opening month, and split payments across a rollout are common on the Multi-branch tier.

Put the detail in the contact form — number of sites, number of devices, when you want to go live — and we will come back with something concrete.

What if I have more than 10 devices?

Extra devices are SAR 450 each on any tier, so the tenth device on Multi-branch is not a ceiling — it is where the bundled count stops. Each additional device is simply another node-locked activation on the same licence.

If you are running several branches with a dozen or more tills, contact us before you order. At that size a single quoted package is usually cheaper than the tier plus add-ons, and we will say so.

Is there a refund?

This is why the demo exists. Five days of the full application, with your own menu and your own numbers, tells you more than any refund policy ever could — you find out whether it fits your kitchen before any money changes hands. Nothing is lost when the demo ends either: your books stay where they are whether you buy or not.

If something we described on this site turns out not to be true of the build you were sold, tell us and we will make it right. Desktop licences are issued against a specific machine code, so please make sure you have tried it on the machine you intend to run.

Is the demo full-featured?

Yes. It is the real application, not a demo build — the same product, running in your browser instead of on your desktop. No locked modules, no watermark, no capped rows. The gate around it only decides whether the application opens, never what it can do once it has.

You get the real double-entry ledger and the seeded chart of accounts, menu and floor plan, which is why five days is enough to judge it. When you buy, the activation code lifts the block and the data you entered during the demo stays exactly where it is.

The same is true of a desktop trial licence: the licensing code supports any length in days, so the only difference between a trial code and a paid one is the date inside the same Ed25519 signature.

See it running before you decide

Open the 5-day demo and have the whole application running in about ten seconds, or request the installer and try it on your own machine — with a walkthrough of the floor plan, the ledger and the ZATCA module if you want one.
